Zanussi Kitchen appliances - Whichever type you choose you will find
that all Zanussi hobs have features in common. One of the first concerns
with kitchen appliances and hob cooking is safety. All of our gas
hobs feature pan supports that allow you to slide rather than lift
a pan off the heat. Solid plates have power on lights, ceramics have
residual heat indicators while Pureflame burners on gas hobs reduce
the chances of the flame accidentally going out. As an added safety
precaution some gas models use safety thermocouples to automatically
turn off the gas if the flame is extinguished.
Your Zanussi hob, no matter how careful
you are, is also the most likely kitchen appliances to get
dirty. There's no stopping splashes from every day cooking.
With this in mind all of our hobs are designed to be easy
to clean. Ceramic and gas on glass models have easy clean
glass surfaces while gas and solid plate models are made
with a single smooth monopress surface. There are no dirt
traps or tight corners. Add to that the fact that all our
hob controls are specially designed to be easy and comfortable
to use and it's easy to see how Zanussi hobs are designed
to work hard so you don't have to.
INDUCTION TAKES COOKING TO THE NEXT LEVEL
At Zanussi we make it our business to always offer the latest technology
and there is nothing more innovative in hobs today than induction.
Induction works through a wire coil in the hob creating an electromagnetic
field. Once a ferromagnetic pan is placed on the hob the electromagnetic
field is transferred to the food, heating it up. The hob does not
heat up, the food does.
Induction cooking is incredibly precise because heat is distributed
extremely quickly and evenly throughout the pan. Whether you are making
delicate foods such as crepes or using higher heat for chops the results
are unbeatable.
Induction's safety is also unbelievable. Even though the glass surface
may retain some heat from the pan it is many times lower than any
other type of hob. Even so, a Zanussi induction hob also has residual
heat indicators for added safety.
As for cleaning, it couldn't be simpler. Less heat on the hob means
spilt food cannot burn onto the glass. Whatever spillages there are,
are easily wiped away with a damp cloth.

HOODS
The first consideration with Zanussi hoods is to deliver extremely
high extraction rates with the minimum amount of noise possible.
Whether you choose a hood that extracts or re-circulates air
you certainly won't have any trouble with our filters. You can
choose between metal filters that can be washed in a dishwasher
or synthetic filters with saturation indicators that let you
know when they need changing.
Traditional hoods fit in under
cupboards while telescopic models can be completely
hidden in kitchen furniture. If you're after a more
dramatic effect you can choose a chimney hood. All
designed to complement your oven and hob perfectly.
