Single variable grill
- Adjustable. Single variable grills have
one grilling zone and the heat level is adjustable giving you more
control of your grilling.
Dual zone grill - Two
grilling zones gives you the flexibility to use one or both
according to the size of the food to be grilled and enables you to
cook small portions economically.
Fixed grill - Single
zone. Fixed grills have just one grilling zone with one
pre-set heat level.
Turbo grill - Fan
grilling. Grills faster and more evenly by boosting hot
air around the grill zone. Ideal for grilling thicker pieces of meat.
Gives cooking a 'spit roast' effect, crisp on the outside and succulent
inside.
Tilt down grill - Easy cleaning.
These grills can be lowered to allow access to the oven
roof for easy cleaning.

Crisp Plate - Whirlpool's
patented 'Crisp Plate cooks like a frying pan and is made from a special
alloy which heats up to exactly 210°C (the perfect temperature
for crisping). The crisp plate enables you to brown sausages, crisp
bacon, produce perfect pizzas (with crisp bases and browned tops)
and even fry eggs at the touch of a button in a fraction of conventional
cooking times.
'3D' Microwave System - Developed
from patented 'DES' (Double Emission I System), '3D' microwave ovens
have specially shaped oven walls which reflect the DES twin pulses
to create a third energy wave. This results in a complex cooking pattern
which fills the whole oven - even in the corners.
'Quartz'
Grill - Quartz grills are 3 times faster than conventional
infra-red grills and reach 800°C in just one minute! At this temperature
they become virtually self-cleaning and spills and splashes simply
vapourise away leaving no residue.
'Tube' Grill
- Conventional microwave grills, rely on turntable rotation for even
browning. 'Tube' grills ! do not, yet they brown evenly all over (just
like grilling in a traditional oven) and have powerful 1600W performance
and an easy clean tilt-down design.

'Jet' Cooking - 'Jet Stream' Forced Air 'combi' microwave
ovens cook quickly by combining microwave and forced-air fan cooking.
Once the forced-air temperature and microwave power levels have been
set manually, perfect results are obtained in a fraction of conventional
cooking times.
'Jet Defrost' - Unique patented
'Jet Defrost' option defrosts seven times faster than conventional
microwave defrost systems. 'Jet Defrost' microwaves recognise five
basic food types (vegetable, meat, poultry, fish and bread) so you
simply enter the food type and weight and 'Get Defrost' automatically
defrosts to perfection.
'Jet Start' Option -
Ideal for heating beverages quickly. Provides 30 seconds of full power
at the touch of a button (each additional touch adds a further 30
seconds of full power).

Twin Range - Designed to be twinned to with
'Premium' and 'Linear' stainless designer ovens, twin microwaves give
you extra cooking options and enable you to create a complete built-in
cooking station. Twin microwaves are available in the same colour
and finish options as 'Premium' & linear' ovens and share the
same control panels and door handles. They have the same 'flush-fit'
build (the control panel and door extend beyond the slim width cabinet),
which allows them to be integrated neatly into furniture units with
only the slimmest of gaps. Twin equipment levels are equally advanced.
All three twin microwave models have a powerful 1600W maximum rating
and all have a built-in grill with a 'Crisp' function to give your
cooking an attractive 'browned' look.
Mini Built
In Range - Designed to build into wall cupboards, 'Mini'
built-in microwaves also save space on the worktop. But these elegant
microwaves are not just for kitchens with limited worktop space. The
professional stainless steel look and advanced electronic controls
will add designer style to even the most up-market kitchens. The four
model 'Mini' microwave range includes a 50cm and a 60cm oven and Grill/Oven
models in each of these widths. All 'Mini' microwaves have a 22 litre
capacity, a side opening door, 750W max power rating and Whirlpool's
patented 'Jet Start', Jet Defrost' and 3D' cooking functions. The
top of the range 'Mini' Grill Oven has all these features and patented
'Crisp' grill function which gives your microwave cooking a tasty
