The new Whirlpool kitchen appliances hob range
Whirlpool's superb built-in kitchen appliances hob range brings you
the latest advances in hob technology and better design, performance
and Safety...
Whirlpool Kitchen appliances Design - The new Whirlpool
'Linear' and 'Premium' gas hobs are a perfect match for the stainless
steel ovens in these prestigious designer kitchen appliances ranges.
An essay in glass and stainless steel, these elegant hobs rival halogen
and induction electric hobs in looks. Performance - In the race for
faster cooking, gas hobs have traditionally led the field. Halogen
provided a fast electric option but the latest electric hob innovation,
Induction* is the first to rival gas in applying instant heat only
to the pan, not the cooktop.
Whirlpool Kitchen appliances safety - Our gas hobs
feature a safety system, which cuts the gas supply in the event of
flame failure. Whirlpool 70cm gas and electric hobs give you the safety
of extra space for your cooking pans and of course, most Whirlpool
ceramic hobs have residual heat indicators to warn when the cooktop
is still hot after cooking. Finally, for your safety and convenience
there are now more hobs with front controls than ever before.
Gas or electric? - Gas hobs are the traditional choice
kitchen appliances. If professional chefs who like the control which
gas provides. The gas range includes 70cm five burner models with
a large central burner ideal for cooking with a large pan or 'wok'.
Some models have individual pan supports which can be conveniently
washed in a dishwasher.
Electric hobs. Conventional electric hobs (with cast iron cook plates)
heat up more slowly than gas hobs but are very reliable and have easy
clean enamel cooktops. 'Ceramic' hobs are next fastest and have a
distinctive ring pattern when lit. Touch control Halogen Instant'
hobs rival gas for speed and the new Induction' hobs are the fastest.
Induction hobs - Induction heats the pan not the
hob. An electro-magnetic field is created when a ferrous metallic
pan is
placed on the hob. The field passes through the ceramic glass top
and heats the base of the pan instantly. Other features include touch
controls, residual heat indicators, precise sensor assisted electronic
temperature control and individually programmable cook zones.

field that heats the pan not the cooktop (the energy passes
through the frameless designer cooktop without heating it).
Other advanced features include individually programmable
cook zones, residual heat indicators, touch controls and
intelligent sensor temperature control. NB: Induction hobs
can only heat ferrous (metallic) pans.
Touch Control Halogen & Ceramic - Touch
control halogen hobs cook with light. Heating is virtually]
instantaneous and can be precisely controlled. With slim
designer frames and residual heat indicators, Whirlpool
Touch control halogen hobs offer top performance, design
and safety. Ceramic hobs heat up faster than conventional
electric hobs and have four 'quicklight' zones and a slimline
frame surrounding a large ceramic surface with residual
heat indicators.
