The latest Smeg washing machines include an LED on the front panel, which shows the time to the end of the programme and the spin speed selected. The Smeg washing machines panel illustrated shows the three option buttons for the rapid cycle, easy iron cycle and the half load. On washer/dryer models the drying button takes the place of the half load button and two smaller buttons show the drying temperature selected.
STAINLESS STEEL DRUM

The stainless steel drums of Smeg washing machines have just one welding point at the top, to avoid corrosion. In a tough galvanized casing that absorbs all mechanical stresses, they contain the water without suffering any stress during the washing process. The outer tubs of Smeg washing machines are in hot-galvanized 12/10 steel; the best protection against rust and wear over time.
EXTRA LARGE DOOR
Smeg washing machines feature an extra large 300mm porthole, which is a great asset when loading bulky items into the machine. The door opening release button has been moved to the top control panel, and is equipped with the usual safety interlock that prevents opening when the machine is in operation.
