NEFF KITCHEN APPLIANCES - WASHING MACHINES |
NEFF Kitchen appliances - Built-in Laundry
Most of us would consider laundry kitchen appliances to be a necessity
rather than a luxury. It takes care of the washing in a way previous
generations could only have dreamed about.
The brand new laundry line-up consists of a choice of two washing
machines, a tumble dryer and combined washer dryer. All four new
models are fully integrated appliances, specifically designed to
blend seamlessly in with the surrounding kitchen furniture units
by means of a matching door. In all cases, the control panels are
hidden from view, located only when the door is opened.
You can expect to use much less water, electricity and detergent
if you invest in one or more of these brand new laundry appliances.
The three washing appliances (W5340, W5320 and V5360) are all top
of their class for wash efficiency; in fact, both new washing machines
boast an 'A' rating for energy efficiency too and the washer dryer
gets a straight 'A' for drying too!
With a combination washer dryer, lack of space is no longer an
obstacle to owning a home laundry appliance. The V5360 is the perfect
solution if you want one machine that turns your laundry around
while you are at work.
The new laundry kitchen appliances may be out of sight, but they
are never out of mind. By solving all your washing problems, they
afford you more time to get on with the rest of your life - in or
out of the kitchen.

How to choose
Is
it possible to programme my washing machine to operate when 1 am
not at home? - If this is important to you we would recommend
our washer dryer or washing machine model W5340. Both these machines
have a delay timer function. You can programme the machine in advance
for greater convenience or to take advantage of Economy 7 electricity.
Is it possible to hand wash my garments and then put them
in the machine for a rinse and spin? - Yes, all our machines
have this useful feature.

I am concerned that there may be residues of detergent
left in the laundered clothes, which can irritate sensitive skin?
Fuzzy logic determines the absorbency of the fabric being washed
and will automatically adjust the water level, ensuring that any
detergent residues are removed. For towelling and absorbent fabrics
the rinse cycle will be longer. In addition, Neff's washing machines
offer an Extra rinse option. This removes any remaining detergent
residues to give the best wash results.
How important is it not to overload the machine?
Our washing machines have a 6kg (13lb) load capacity. Exceeding
the maximum load could produce poor wash results. For your guidance,
approximate wash weights are as follows: Cotton jumper 500gm/1 Ib,
Sweatshirt 500gm/1 Ib, Jeans 500gm/1 Ib 2oz, Single sheet 600gm/1
Ib 4oz, Double sheet 800gm/ 11b 11 oz, Double duvet cover 1.5kg/3lb,
Table cloth 700gm/1 Ib 7oz.
I am concerned about putting silk blouses and soft wool
jumpers in the washing machine, will they get ruined?
Of course, you should check the label before washing any
garment but many silk and woollens can be safely washed in a Neff
washing machine. There is a special hand wash and delicate programme
during which the wash action is reduced and the spin is slowed to
reduce friction on the yarns. Once the programme is finished it
is advisable to remove the garments to avoid wrinkling. Woollens
should be laid out flat to dry.
I live on my own and find it difficult to wait until I have
a large load before I use my machine. Is there any way I can wash
a small load of light and dark garments together without colours
running? Both Neff washing machines, W5340 and W5320 offer
a special mixed load programme at 30°C. Although this temperature
is not ideal for heavily soiled garments it may be ideal for the
type of clothes you want to wash. If you do have more heavily soiled
clothes then you can always select the intensive button for prolonged
wash action.
What does the energy label on the washing machine mean?
The energy label enables customers to compare different
products in a standard way and select the most efficient one for
their needs. A rating between A+ and G is given for wash performance,
spin-drying efficiency and energy efficiency. Please refer to the
laundry matrix for more information.
