Dedietrich
induction hobs technology
The production
of heat occurs when the magnetic field comes into contact with the
saucepan - it is the pan that heats up not the glass surface so
there is hardly any heat loss. Dedietrich
induction hobs are 90% energy efficient,
against ceramics 55% efficiency and 50% for gas. Dedietrich
induction hobs are faster,
safer and more energy efficient than any other type of hob.
Masters of INNOVATION - Dedietrich

standard fitting dimensions.
Dedietrich
induction hobs - The best in cooking. Only induction
is capable of giving you the instant power you desire together with
perfectly homogeneous heat distribution, at the touch of a finger.
This mastery of kitchen appliances technology is based on the simple
principle of magnetism, where an inductor underneath the glass surface
creates a magnetic field when a pan is placed on the zone. This
starts the production of heat, without energy loss and with maximum
output. Twice as fast as the other cooking methods, it is also the
most economical and energy efficient.
Dedietrich
induction hobs custom-built collection for
cooking in complete freedom
DeDietrich induction hobs offer you two, four and even five separate
cooking zones, each of which have separate controls and on some
models a timer. The cooking zones adapt to all sizes of pans ranging
from 16, 18, 21, 22, 23 and even up to 28 cm size - exclusively
developed by DeDietrich and the largest on the market.
Extreme precision and incomparable fine settings
Certain delicate recipes need very gentle cooking in a bain marie.
Other foods like pasta or gnocchi need bringing to the boil rapidly
and then reducing down. The success of DeDietrich induction hobs
is down to the hobs having the most flexible temperature control,
ranging from the gentlest at 50W to the most powerful at 3600W.
As well as finely tuned temperature controls some hobs have direct
access power levels of simmer, boil or fry, which allow you to choose
the ideal power level.
Suitable cookware
Saucepans for use on Dedietrich
induction hobs need to have a magnetic (ferrous)
core within the base of the pan. Most saucepans made from enamelled
steel, iron or stainless steel (depending on alloy) will work on
induction. The best way to be sure your pans are suitable for induction
is to check that a fridge magnet sticks to the base of the saucepan.
The majority of saucepan manufacturers today are developing saucepans,
suitable for use on induction hobs, that are reasonably priced and
available from department stores and quality cook shops. |
