Bosch Ovens - Hoods features & benefits

Bosch Recirculating extraction - If an outside wall cannot be reached the extractor can be set up for recirculating. Air is drawn into the appliance and scrubbed clean via the grease and charcoal filters. A carbon filter is necessary in this situation to neutralise the odours (optional extra). Re-circulating kit - If the hood exhaust cannot be ducted, a re-circulating kit containing a carbon filter and any other necessary components will ensure that odour-free air is returned to the kitchen.
Bosch Ducted extraction - Ducting out is the most effective method of extraction if the extractor can be sited on an outside wall or an outside wall can be reached via trunking.

After running - The hood continues to run on after operation (approx ten minutes) to clear any remaining vapours.

Automatic switch back - When the intensive setting is selected it may be set to automatically revert back to a pre-defined normal setting after a short period of time.

Bosch Remote controlled hood - Cooking has never been so easy. Bosch DKE 915F GB hood now comes with a remote control allowing you to switch the hood on and off and change speeds without having to reach up or leave your guests.

Worktop lighting - Integral lighting ensures there is plenty of light available in the cooking area. A dimmer light function is also available providing softer ambient lighting in the kitchen.

Variable power settings - All Bosch hoods feature variable power settings.

Paper grease filter - The writing and stripes darken considerably when this filter is saturated to indicate that it needs replacing.

Metal filter - A metal filter provides the ultimate in filtering efficiency. The dishwasher-proof metal mesh needs periodic cleaning but can be used over and over again.

Double filter system - Vapour extracted via the front filter is pre-filtered before being passed through the main rear filter. (DHI 635 H only).

Universal filter - Combines paper and carbon filters in one filter and extracts grease and neutralises odours. Requires regular replacement.
