Food Waste
Around 25% of household waste is food... the kind that goes off rapidly, especially in a warm kitchen. Smells, bacteria and insects can be real problems inside and outside the home. Messy, leaking bags and those frequent trips to the outside rubbish bin really do belong to the past. While composting of certain green waste can provide valuable benefits for the garden, most food waste is not suitable for composting. Protein waste such as meat, fish or dairy products and most cooked food putresce rather than compost and should not be put on to a compost heap. Doing so will encourage scavengers, including rats, and can cause health hazards.

Convenient
ISE Waste disposal units are so easy to use. Just turn on the cold water tap, switch on and empty the food waste into the sink opening. It only takes seconds.

Safe
No knives, no blades. A spinning metal plate pushes the food against a tough grind ring fixed to the wall of the food chamber. The waste is ground safely and simply to fine particles which then pass through small holes in the plate and out in suspension through the normal drainage pipes.

Safe for use in septic tanks
ISE Waste disposal units are built to the highest standards

Quiet
The ISE Waste disposal units special motor and overall design ensure that all models are surprisingly quiet. However, some models have been designed to offer a particularly quiet operation.

Compact
Optimum shape and design for the food chamber and motor, combined with tough, lighter weight materials including stainless steel, enable outstanding performance leaving plenty of available storage space under the sink.

High Performance Kitchen appliances
The ISE Waste disposal units high torque Dura drive™ induction motor has been exclusively designed for the needs of a disposer and to give quiet, sustained performance whatever the loading. Its rugged construction and permanently lubricated bearings ensure trouble-free operation.

All units are BEAB approved and meet CE requirements volumes. The 360° stainless steel swivel lugs used in all models give added grinding performance and maximum jam protection.

An accessory air switch is available for models 45 and 55. The button can be located on the work top or sink. Pressing the button sends a pulse of air through a tube to the disposer to switch it on and off. The air switch is supplied with interchangeable white and chrome finishes.

Choice of ISE waste disposal units
IN-SINK-ERATOR waste disposal units come in a range of five models each with different features, but all offering excellent levels of performance and reliability.

Continuous Feed models allow a stream of food waste to be fed into the disposer as it operates. The on/off control can be by a wall switch or by a convenient air switch attached to the work surface.

The Batch Feed model (78) has the same grinding process, the difference is in the on/off control. A special sink plug incorporating a micro-switch is inserted into the disposer after the waste has been fed in. Turning the plug starts and stops the disposer. The waste is therefore processed a batch at a time.
